- Changes To Mischief Night In 2024
There are lots of seasonal events in Fallout 76. From Fasnacht to Spooky Scorched, there are a handful of limited-timed events that happen each year that allow players to earn rare and unique rewards. One of those events is Mischief Night.
Mischief Night was a special seasonal event that was removed from the game due to various performance issues back in 2019. The event was a Halloween-themed event that saw players cause mayhem in various locations around the Whitespring Resort. With the latest version of the Public Test Server, players got the chance to look at Mischief Night before it is set to make a comeback later on in the year (2024).
When Will Mischief Night Take Place In Fallout 76?
No date has been officially announced, but since Mischief Night is a Halloween-themed event, it should return around the Halloween season later in the year.
Unfortunately, the Mischief Night event has been temporarily removed from the Public Test Server due to reports of crashing issues. Bethesda released a statement and also mentioned that they will keep everybody updated as they work on a fix for the issue.
As mentioned above, Mischief Night's last appearance was in 2019. The event ran from 12 PM EDT on October 29 to 12 PM EDT on November 5. While nothing is set in stone, it's safe to assume that Mischief Night will take place around the same timeframe — provided the crashing issue can be fixed.
Changes To Mischief Night In 2024
Mischief Night has moved from the Whitespring Resort to an entirely new location called Rapidan Camp. While the overall idea of the event remains largely the same, there are some changes to make the event more interesting.
Players will need to fill mayhem progress bars to complete the event. While things are subject to change, players will need to 'Sow Mayhem' in a few different areas by doing actions like blowing things up, looting trick-or-treat bowls, painting on walls, and other mischievous activities.
This event will have its own pool of unique rewards that players can earn for completing it. Similar to most other seasonal events in Fallout 76, it looks like Mischief Night will take place at the top of every hour. It will be a public event, so players will be able to travel to the area for free.
While all the information surrounding Mischief Night is subject to change, provided the issues can be solved in time, things look set for Mischief Night to come back to the game for Halloween of this year.
