Skyline Valley is the first-ever map expansion in Fallout 76. The region has brought in new quests, events, weapons, and enemies. There's lots for players to see and do. There are also a few hidden secrets that players are stumbling across while exploring the Skyline Valley.
From a creepy, aggressive masked man to hidden loot inside tree trunks, there are a few secrets to be found in the Skyline Valley region. One of those secrets will award players a little something that they can craft at their CAMPS. This guide will go through how to find this new hidden CAMP item.
How To Find The Secret Treasure
To start things off, you'll need to head to Camp Liberty. This area is located toward the bottom of the Skyline Valley region. The area is guarded by Communists, so take them out and head to the totem pole in the center of the camp. To the right of the totem pole, there is a noticeboard. Take the note called Pioneer Treasure Hunt Start from the board.
In the note is a riddle that will lead you to the treasure. After reading the note, head to Johnson's Acre. This place usually has a few Cultists roaming around; take them out to make things easier.
Head east from Johnson's Acre until you come across several large rocks with the Pioneer Scout emblem sticker placed on each one. See the image below for the exact location.
In the middle of the giant boulders is a broken tree. Inside the broken tree, you'll find a note called Pioneer Treasure Hunt End. You'll also see your reward, a plan to craft a Totem Pole Ornament at your CAMP.
Building The Totem Pole At Your CAMP
It's not a very large item and there's no limit as to how many you can place at your CAMP. It's also possible to place literally hundreds of them all over your CAMP. This will confuse players who are unaware of the hidden treasure hunt inside Skyline Valley.
It's a cheap item to craft as it only costs two pieces of wood. However, if the player equips the Contractor perk, then it only costs 1 piece of wood to craft a Mini Totem Pole. While the Totem Pole Ornament is purely decorative, it is still a fun and unique piece that most players will want to have at their CAMP.
