Huntersville, West Virginia, is home to the Super Mutants and a set of T-Series Power Armor. Here’s how to find the city in FO76.
Huntersville is an important part of Appalachia (both in Fallout 76 and in real life). In the Fallout series, Huntersville, West Virginia, is home to the Battle of Huntersville, a major battle between Super Mutants and the Brotherhood of Steel.
Due to its significance in the series, the location is a pretty great place to visit in the game. The city is located in the southern portion of the Savage Divide and is home to a large number of Super Mutants to this day. Here's how players can get to this location.
Where Is Huntersville?
As mentioned above, Huntersville is located in the southern area of the Savage Divide. It is located to the northeast of Spruce Knob and to the southeast of the Twin Lakes area of the map. Another major area near it is the Devil's Backbone, which is to the east of Huntersville. Players can find the icon on their map by looking for a city that has a water tower with an American flag on it. This symbolizes the massive water tower that Huntersville is well-known for and can be seen in the middle of the city.
Points Of Interest In Huntersville
Close
There are several areas in Huntersville that players should check out while they are there. First and foremost, Huntersville is one of the areas that contains a set of Power Armor for players. In fact, players will find that there are actually two sets of Power Armor.
- On the north end of the city, there is an area with military tents and Super Mutant meat bags. Behind this area, a barn with a metal door can be found. The Power Armor is behind this barn inside a Power Armor Station.
- To the southeast of the city, players can find a graveyard full of fallen Brotherhood of Steel members (directly off of State Route 107). One brother can be found still inside his Power Armor, which can then be taken by the player.
Additionally, players can head to the city's hardware store to pick up Magazines and a Vault-Tec Bobblehead (which is one of the best in the game), both of which will help them increase important stats or add a beneficial status for a temporary amount of time. Another place with a Vault-Tec Bobblehead is Gail Meyer's house, which contains information on the Battle of Huntersville. Players can learn that while the Brotherhood of Steel was initially successful in the battle, the Super Mutants have since taken back over.
