Fallout: New Vegas features a cast of colorful characters that can be recruited as followers. They will travel alongside you providing support while fighting enemies. Lily Bowen is the only super mutant companion in the entire game. She is a Nightkin, a separate mutation from normal mutants who are obsessed with being invisible.
Lily was an assassin before she transformed. This makes her the best companion for sneaking. She'll give the courier the Stealth Girl perk when traveling with them. The perk makes Stealth Boys last twice as long and adds +10% damage to Sneak Attack Criticals. Follow these steps to get Lily in your party in Fallout: New Vegas.
Lily's Location in Fallout: New Vegas
Lily resides in Jacobstown. It's a refuge for friendly super mutants far to the west of New Vegas. Follow the highway that goes northwest above New Vegas then cuts through the mountains. Stay on the road to avoid deadly cazadores. Lily tends to the Bighorners in the area and can be spoken to. You will need to complete a quest to get her as a companion.
Guess Who I Saw Today
Speak to Doctor Henry in the main Jacobstown lodge and ask about his research. He's looking for a cure to the Nightkin's addiction to Stealth Boys. Offer to help him out.
You can ask Lily to join you on your trip to the nearby cave.
Charleston Cave
Charleston Cave is directly to the north of Jacobstown. You will have to go back to the entrance of the town and walk along the outside wall to reach it. The cave is filled with Nightstalkers. These mutated creatures will be invisible until they attack.
At the end of the cave is the remains of a fallen Nightkin. Pick up the Chewed Stealth Boy from it. Don't miss the Oh, Baby! unique super sledge sitting on the ground nearby.
Final Decisions
Return the Chewed Stealth Boy to Doctor Henry and he will conduct a test on Lily. Keene will confront the player demanding the new Stealth Boy models. You can defuse the situation by passing an 80 Speech check. Otherwise, you can let Keene take the Stealth Boys or kill him and the Nightkin allied with him.
The last choice is whether Doctor Henry should continue his tests on Lily. You can convince him to conduct his research on Nightstalkers instead if you have at least 90 Science. Finishing the quest will allow you to have Lily as a companion. Speak to her again by the Bighorners and she will join you.
