Players can only acquire one Lightsaber on the Fortnite Battle Royale — here’s how to do it.
To celebrate May the Fourth, Fortnite has once again brought Star Wars to the game with a grand event. Star Wars items are now available in nearly every Fortnite game mode, Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite Festival, and Rocket Racing. In previous years, gamers would be able to collect Force Abilities all over the island, and even though this is arguably the biggest Star Wars event to date, that is no longer possible. On top of that, most Lightsabers have not returned either.
Thankfully, there is still one Lightsaber on the Fortnite island; this guide will tell players everything they need to know about finding Darth Vader's red Lightsaber in Fortnite.
How to Get Darth Vader's Lightsaber
There is only one Lightsaber on the Fortnite island, and it belongs to Darth Vader, the infamous Sith lord. This means that in order to get the Lightsaber, players will have to defeat Darth Vader.
Gamers will find Darth Vader in Piney Lane, the small island on the northwestern part of the map. There is an Imperial camp near the location, which is only inhabited by Darth Vader and two Stormtroopers. Players should first take down the Stormtroopers, take their E-11 Blasters, since they have infinite ammo, and take down Darth. Once defeat, he will drop some useful loot as well as the Darth Vader's Lightsaber item.
How to Use the Lightsaber
Fortnite Lightsabers has two main actions, Attack and Block, but it is also has additional moves if used properly.
Gamers can use the Shoot button to attack, and their character will perform different moves and combos depending on how many they press it. First, they'll do two quick attacks and then a powerful spin attack.
To Block, players must press and hold the Aim button. Then, they can evade attacks with the Jump button while blocking.
