Fortnite x Star Wars is a continuing partnership between Disney and Epic Games, and one that flourishes with some brilliant skins from The Mandalorian. Not only were players once able to acquire the titular Mando himself, Din Djarin, but now they can add the reprogrammed assassin droid IG-11, and Giancarlo Esposito's intimidating villain, Moff Gideon to their Fortnite lockers.
There is an abundance of Star Wars skins in Fortnite, and Moff Gideon and IG-11 are most likely just the start of even more. Players can put aside their blasters and intergalactic credits, and pull out their V-Bucks to check out the best Star Wars skins in Fortnite and decide which one they want the most.
How to Get Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito)

Players can acquire Gustavo Fring in Fortnite thanks to the Moff Gideon skin, which will allow them the option style to take off Moff Gideon's Mandalorian helmet to reveal Giancarlo Esposito underneath. With and without the mask, Moff Gideon is extremely intimidating, and his sleek black Mandalorian-inspired armor is purchasable for 1,500 V-Bucks from the Item Shop on August 12, 8 PM ET.
Purchasing Moff Gideon comes with a LEGO style for use in LEGO Fortnite, as well as the Moff Gideon's Jetpack Back Bling. If players want even more Star Wars cosmetics, then they can spend 2,500 V-Bucks on the Moff Gideon Bundle, which sees the additional items of the Force Lance Pickaxe, alongside the Force Lance Flourish Emote. Players will also acquire the Gideon's Wrath Wrap, which surrounds the weapon with purple energy when fired.
If players do not want to purchase the Moff Gideon Bundle, then they can acquire each of these items separately:
- Gideon's Wrath (500 V-Bucks)
- Force Lance + Force Lance Flourish (1,200 V-Bucks)
Moff Gideon will leave the Item Shop on 20 August at 8 PM ET.
How to Get IG-11

IG-11 may have started as a lethal and emotionless assassin droid bounty hunter, but his development into a Grogu-sitter made him one of the most beloved characters in The Mandalorian. IG-11's protection of the child, Baby Yoda, makes him the perfect skin for Star Wars fans, and players can head to the Item Shop on August 12, 8 PM ET and purchase him for 1,500 V-Bucks. IG-11 only comes with a LEGO Style, but there is an IG-11 Bundle if players want more.
Purchasing the IG-11 Bundle for 2,100 V-Bucks will see players obtain the IG-11 outfit, LEGO Style, as well as the IG Droid Destructor Pickaxe, and perhaps the most favorable item of the collab, the Grogu Back Bling, which acts as a reactive pet that players can keep in a backpack.
Outside of the IG-11 Bundle, players can purchase each of these items separately:
- IG Droid Destructor (800 V-Bucks)
- Grogu (600 V-Bucks)
IG-11 will leave the Item Shop on 20 August at 8 PM ET.
How to Get The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian is an exclusive skin for those who owned and completed the Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass. Unfortunately, Din Djarin as The Mandalorian will not return, as this Battle Pass exclusive cosmetic is permanently locked behind Chapter 2 Season 5's Level 1 page, where players could complete in-game quests to collect Beskar to upgrade the Mandalorian into his iconic silver and indestructible armor.
The Mandalorian could have multiple customization options thanks to the Beskar Quests, which saw players unlock Beskar variants of the:
- Right Shoulder
- Left Shoulder
- Right Thigh
- Left Thigh
- Right Arm
- Left Arm
- Torso
- Helmet
- Clothing
Whilst players cannot unlock the Mandalorian in Fortnite, they can still obtain cosmetics and other skins from the Star Wars Disney Plus series, including the iconic and first live-action Mandalorian, Boba Fett. It's a shame that players cannot get the Mandalorian, as he came with his own Grogu Back Bling, as well as the Razor Crest Glider, which acts as the iconic ship of the bounty hunter.
