Some Constellations for certain characters can save their kit in Genshin Impact. Take 4-star units, for example. Before acquiring their Constellations, they could be very ordinary units who could barely do anything useful during combat. However, once you start unlocking their Constellations, these 4-star units start to compete with other 5-star units to take their spot in team comps.
As for 5-star units like Emilie, it can be expensive to go for their Constellations, even if it saves their kit. She's definitely useful even without her Constellations, but only players determine if it’s worth it to get Emilie Constellations in Genshin Impact.
Are Emilie Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
Yes, getting Emilie Constellations is worth it in Genshin Impact. While the first Constellation doesn’t give Emilie any competitive edge, the second one immediately puts her among the best Dendro characters in Genshin Impact. After that, each Constellation only enhances her ability to operate as Support and a Sub-DPS during combat.
C1 — Light Fragrance Leaching
Effect |
Increases the DMG dealt by Fragrance Extraction and her Passive Talent's Cleardew Cologne "Lingering Fragrance" by 20%. The latter requires unlocking said Passive Talent first. Additionally, when nearby party members trigger the Burning reaction on opponents or deal Dendro DMG to Burning opponents, they will generate an additional Scent. This effect can be triggered once every 2.9s. |

Medium |
Emilie can deal a massive amount of Dendro DMG with the combined DMG of her Elemental Skill and first Ascension Passive. With her C1, these attacks get a slight DMG boost in addition to their ability to create more Scents. While this Constellation can be useful, it’s not worth stopping at C1 Emilie since the cost outweighs this C1 passive’s return.
C2 — Lakelight Top Note
Effect |
When Fragrance Extraction, Aromatic Explication, or Cleardew Cologne produced by the Passive Talent "Lingering Fragrance" (the last of which requires Passive Talent activation) hits opponents, those opponents' Dendro RES is decreased by 30% for 10s. |

Priority |
C2 Emilie with the ability to shred enemies’ Dendro Resistance by 30% by using any of her useful attacks makes her viable as a Support for any Dendro DPS in Genshin Impact. What makes this Constellation so good is how easily Emilie can hit enemies with her Elemental Skill and Passive Talent. Not to mention, you can pair this ability with Deepwood Memories’ set passive, which also reduces Dendro Resistance by 30%, ending up with a C2 Emilie that can shred 60% RES.
C4 — Lumidouce Heart Note
Effect |
Explication's duration is increased by 2s. The interval between opponents being selected as the target for Scented Dew is decreased by 0.3s. |
---|---|
Importance |
High |
Emilie’s Elemental Burst already deals a massive amount of DMG, so adding two seconds with Emilie’s C4 passive Constellation can be a big deal for her DPS. Not only does C4 Emilie have more time to hit opponents with level three Lumidouce, but it also increases the chance of her Skills hitting the same target more frequently.
C6 — Marcotte Sillage
Effect |
When using Fragrance Extraction or Aromatic Explication, Emilie will gain Abiding Fragrance for 5s. While this is active, after Emilie uses Normal or Charged Attacks, she will generate 1 Scent, and her Normal and Charged Attack DMG will be converted into Dendro DMG that cannot be overridden, and the DMG dealt will be increased by 300% of Emilie's ATK. |

Importance |
High |
At this stage, it’s unsurprising that a character that depends on ATK% and CRIT turns into a main DPS with their sixth Constellation. C6 Emilie gets a massive DMG increase to her Normal and Charged attacks while infusing her Polearm with Dendro. With this Constellation, Emilie can lead her team’s DPS while enabling Dendro to keep the Burning reactions triggering nonstop.
C6 Emilie’s effect is not an ideal passive for her since she can handle herself pretty well as a Sub-DPS unit, but for people who are looking to main her, it's definitely the must-have Emilie Constellations in Genshin Impact.
