Honkai: Star Rail reveals the complete kit and ability details for Aventurine, a new five-star unit that will make his debut next week.

Honkai: Star Rail has given players an insight into Aventurine's kit before his debut in the second phase of version 2.1. Honkai: Star Rail will soon receive a new update and celebrate its anniversary in a memorable way. The Festive Gifts login event, which gives away 30 free pulls, will be available in the second phase of 2.1, alongside some other time-limited festivities like Cosmodyssey and Vignettes in a Cup. Moreover, players will get 1,600 Stellar Jades through the in-game mail system.
Honkai: Star Rail's anniversary falls within the second part of 2.1, in which Aventurine will make his entrance into the smash-hit RPG along with a trio of reruns: Serval, Lynx, and Luka. They will be available for the entire phase that will conclude on May 7. Aside from Aventurine and his companions, Honkai: Star Rail's Jingliu will be added to the character rotation in the upcoming update. Thankfully for players, her signature weapon, I Shall Be My Own Sword, will be on the Bygone Reminiscence Light Cone rerun banner in 2.1.
Honkai: Star Rail has revealed all the details about Aventurine, giving players an early look at his abilities. Aventurine's Technique gives him a DEF boost effect, while his basic attack deals single-target Imaginary damage. The Preservation character has a complex Talent that works well with his Hot Hand trace. As per the description, the Hot Hand trace provides a single ally with a Fortified Wager shield and increases their Effect RES. When an ally with this shield gets attacked, Aventurine gains Blind Bet points that can be used to perform follow-up attacks. As for his ultimate, it grants a certain number of Blind Pet points and inflicts an Unnerved effect on a single enemy.

Players will need Tatters of Thought and Suppressing Edict to ascend Honkai: Star Rail's Aventurine. They will also need to farm Scattered Stardust and Past Evils of the Borehole Planet Disaster to level up his traces, one of which grants all allies a temporary shield that blocks a certain amount of damage.
Besides Aventurine, the second phase of Honkai: Star Rail version 2.1 will bring his Light Cone, Inherently Unjust Destiny, to the next weapon banner. Players will be able to get it by spending their Special Rail Passes. According to its description, Inherently Unjust Destiny hails from the Preservation path and increases the wearer's DEF stat by 40%. When the wearer gives their teammates a shield, this weapon provides an additional CRIT DMG boost.
In the second phase of Honkai: Star Rail version 2.1, players will participate in various events and finish designated challenges to earn rewards. They will spend their Special Rail Passes to unlock rerun characters and their Light Cones. After the release of the update, Honkai: Star Rail players will also get their compensation rewards.
