Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree gives players all sorts of tools to help deal with the many new enemies they will be facing throughout the DLC. These new tools range from new weapons, spells, ashes of war, and even new status effects.

The new status effect in Shadow Of The Erdtree is known as Eternal Sleep, which really does put weaker enemies into an eternal sleep. This status effect is very powerful and can make clearing out legacy dungeons a breeze, with Eternal Sleep Pots letting any player take advantage of the new effect.

Eternal Sleep Pot , players will first need to find St. Trina Disciple's Cookbook [1] which is found after reaching the Cerulean Coast. Continue traveling south until you reach the Cerulean Coast Cross Site of Grace, just east of the major peninsula. Head back north up the major hill using the large stone coffin and head towards the dead white tree near the center of the hill. There will be a ghost-like enemy guarding the area, with the Cookbook being looted from the dead body sitting near the tree.

Whiteflesh Mushrooms are glowing white mushrooms found low to the ground. Deep-purple lilies go to about chest level and stand out even against the blues of the Cerulean Coast as they tower over most of the surrounding grass. Both of these materials are found throughout the Cerulean Coast and can be easily farmed by exploring randomly on the coast or in the Stone Coffin Fissure.

There are ten ritual pots found throughout Elden Ring, with them being reusable after an Eternal Sleep Pot is thrown. While it will usually take a few sleeping pots to make an enemy fall asleep, these pots can be incredibly efficient in taking down groups of enemies and making them fall into an Eternal Sleep.

Eternal Sleep works a lot like regular sleep in how it builds up on enemies. For weaker enemies throughout the world, they will fall asleep and stay asleep forever, no matter how many times the player attacks them or how long they wait. Stronger enemies and bosses can still be put to sleep, but the effect will only be temporary, yet still longer than regular sleep.
