New cookbooks have been added to Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, bringing with them never-before-seen recipes and items that can only be crafted using the crafting materials exclusively found in the Shadow Realm.
Most cookbooks come in a series of multiple books, each found in a different location that needs to be tracked down by players. The Fire Knight’s Cookbook series has two of these books to find. Luckily, both of them can be obtained fairly early on and are not locked behind any of the scary DLC bosses. They’re out there in the open world, ripe for the taking. Here is where to find them.
Fire Knight’s Cookbook [1] Location
The Fire Knight’s Cookbook [1] can be found in a soldier camp in Scadu Altus, the second main area of the game that becomes accessible after beating Rellana, Twin Moon Knight in Castle Ensis. To the east of the Highroad Cross Site of Grace lie the Moorth Ruins. Just before these ruins, there is a small encampment being patrolled by a Black Steel Knight on horseback. Defeat the knight and clear the camp of enemies to explore it fully. The cookbook is on a corpse inside a tent, just behind the Marika statue with the Scadutree Fragment .

You can reach Scadu Altus without fighting Rellana by using a sealed spiritspring in the Gravesite Plains to unlock a shortcut to the Fort of Reprimand.
Fire Knight’s Cookbook [2] Location
The Fire Knight’s Cookbook [2] can be found in the Messmer soldier camp just past the Ellac Greatbridge, northwest of the Castle Front Site of Grace. This area is a large campsite with multiple tents set up all over the open field. The cookbook can be found on a white corpse inside a large tent with a wooden table. This region of the map is accessible as soon as you enter the DLC and doesn’t require fighting any bosses to access.
