Hero Coins are an important currency used to unlock heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint. Here’s how you can earn them.
Unlike many battle royale games, Naraka: Bladepointfocuses on melee combat instead of guns. In the main Herald’s Trial mode, you and 59 other players fight on Morus Isle, and the last one standing wins the match. Players can play the game solo or with their friends and choose from 16 characters with unique skills.
Following its shift to a free-to-play model in July 2023, this game launched a new currency called Hero Coins. These coins are used to unlock heroes in the game. However, earning these Hero coins can be a bit challenging. If you are looking to acquire some more Hero Coins in Naraka: Bladepoint, here are a few methods that you can use.
How to Get Hero Coins in Naraka: Bladepoint
While you can get Hero coins in both editions, free players get fewer Hero Coins compared to those who bought the game before.
Practice Mode
Once players have completed the tutorial, they can access the specialized training mode to improve their gameplay. Completing objectives in this mode earns you Hero Coins and lots of other rewards. For example, you will get 50 Hero Coins by completing the fifth chapter.
To access this mode, go to the mode selection menu and select ‘Free Training’. There are separate chapters for counter, charge, dodge, and grappling hook.
Convert Your Tae into Hero Coins
Players who still have the Tae currency can convert it to Hero Coins every two weeks. Each Hero Coin costs 120 Tae, and you can get up to 35 Hero Coins every two weeks.
To convert your Tae into Hero coins, head to the store, go to the ‘Items’ category, click on ‘Hero Coin’, and select ‘Unlock With Tae.’ Now simply confirm the amount you wish to convert by clicking the ‘+’ icon.
How To Use Hero Coins in Naraka: Bladepoint
As mentioned above, you will need Hero Coins to unlock heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint. While some heroes, such as Viper Ning, are free, most heroes require you to spend these coins. Here’s how you can unlock heroes using Hero coins in the game:
- From the main menu, go to the ‘Hero’ section, found next to the ‘Lobby’ option.
- Now, click the ‘Hero Details’ option.
- Simply choose the hero you want to unlock and pay its unlock cost to unlock it.
