Learn how to access the new Forgotten Kingdom DLC in Remnant 2 and discover the ancient history of a lost tribe belonging to Yaesha.
Remnant 2, the thrilling sequel to Remnant: From The Ashes, keeps getting bigger and better with every new DLC. While the first expansion pack, The Awakened King, focused on the events in Losomn after the One True King returns, the new Forgotten Kingdom DLC explores the forgotten history of a lost tribe in Yaesha.
The Forgotten Kingdom takes players on a brand-new adventure, where they can travel to uncharted territories, get powerful gear, and battle new enemies. If you can’t wait to uncover the mysteries of the Forgotten Kingdom, read on to learn how you can access the DLC easily.
How to Access The Forgotten Kingdom DLC in Remnant 2
Unfortunately, it is not possible to start The Forgotten Kingdom DLC in the middle of an ongoing Campaign. However, if you start a new campaign and visit Yaesha, there’s always a chance the Forgotten Kingdom will roll in your playthrough. Given the procedurally generated nature of Remnant 2, this entirely depends on luck.
Starting The Forgotten Kingdom One Shot adventure is the best way to ensure that you can experience the new content without having to reroll your campaign and losing any progress.
If you’ve previously completed the Yaesha world at least once, simply follow the instructions below to start The Forgotten Kingdom DLC.
- Head to Ward 13.
- Interact with the World Stone.
- Navigate to World Settings.
- Click on Reroll Adventure Mode. Doing so opens up a list of all your available maps.
- Next, select The Forgotten Kingdom One Shot option and choose your preferred difficulty.
You will not be able to access the Forgotten Kingdom DLC if you have not cleared out the Yaesha biome at least once during the main campaign and unlocked the Adventure Mode .
When starting Remnant 2’s The Forgotten King One Shot adventure, you’ll receive a brief warning detailing that this adventure is a one-shot – which means it is a unique adventure only created once.
After finishing the Forgotten Kingdom One Shot, you can always play it again by re-rolling the Yaesha biome in Adventure mode. Keep in mind that the content will be randomized when the same adventure is generated again, meaning you can experience new quests, NPCs, and enemies in your next playthrough.
How To Unlock Adventure Mode in Remnant 2
To get access to the Forgotten Kingdom and any future DLCs, you’ll need access to Remnant 2’s Adventure Mode. This is a separate save file that lets players pick any world – Losomn, Yaesha, or N’Erud – and focus on it entirely. You can unlock Adventure Mode by completing the first world of your playthrough and defeating its final boss.
