This guide will provide some tips and tricks that every Infection Free Zone player should know to survive in this dangerous zombie apocalypse world.
Infection Free Zone is a game where you take on the role of the leader of a small group of people surviving in a zombie apocalypse world. There you will have to deal with different challenges, and they may be difficult for you as a new player. So, this guide will provide you with some tips and tricks for beginners in Infection Free Zone.
Tips and Tricks for Beginners in Infection Free Zone
Of course, games like Infection Free Zone can be difficult to understand, especially if you don’t play survival-strategies that often. So, here are a few tips and tricks that will help you deal with your problems at the beginning of your playthrough.
Choose the Right Difficulty
Infection Free Zone doesn’t have the usual difficulty levels you can see in other projects. Instead, the game suggests you choose the number of survivors and the number of resources you will have at the beginning. Also, you can change the number of infected hordes. Pay attention to these settings and don’t make your start too hard.
Always Give Tasks to Your Survivors
One of the most common mistakes is leaving your workers without a job. You can form a couple of squads to search neighboring houses for resources and begin constructing a Shelter or a Warehouse. However, these tasks are unlikely to require all of your workers.
So, you shouldn’t leave them without work. Tell them to chop some wood or collect metal near your HQ. If you don’t do this and let them just sit in their shelters, you will significantly slow down your progress.
Prepare for Winter
Winter is a difficult period, and you should always prepare for it. Collect as many weapons and ammunition as possible to create more armed squads. This will help scavenge more buildings to find food.
Don’t Leave Your HQ Unprotected
Sending all your squads to loot neighboring buildings sounds tempting and is a good thing to do in the beginning. However, once you scavenge all the houses nearby, your fighters will have to loot buildings located further away. They won’t be able to quickly return to the HQ, and your workers will be vulnerable. So, make sure that at least one armed squad is located near your base and can protect your people from raiders and bandits.
Start Producing Food as Soon as Possible
Food is probably the most required resource in this game, and you should start producing your own wheat and dishes as soon as possible. Just try to loot the nearby houses to find some Basic Tools, wheat, and fertilizer. After that, you will be able to build fields and send your workers there to collect wheat. This resource can be used to produce dishes in the cookhouse.
Research and Build Antenna
Antenna is a very important structure that allows you to invite new survivors to your Infection Free Zone. So, unlock the Research Center as soon as possible and build this thing to research the Antenna technology and continue your expansion.
These tips should help you deal with all the challenges you may encounter in the beginning, and we will be glad if this guide helps you make your playthrough easier. But be careful, as there will be more difficulties ahead.
