Once gamers take down the Possessor in Haunted Towers, they'll move onto the third mansion in Luigi's Mansion 2: Old Clockworks — an abandoned clock tower built over an archeological site. There are several gems in this location but not all of them are easy to spot; they require some digging and investigating.
This guide will show players how they can uncover every gem in this mansion so they're a step closer to completing E. Gadd's vault.

Clockworks Court (F1) |
On the right side of the courtyard, use the Strobulb to activate the bomb on the other side of the pile of wood blocking the road. Then, keep going right and use the Dark-Light Device at the end of the rails to uncover a chest with the gem inside. |

Warehouse (F1) |
Activate the Dark-Light Device on the pile of boxes east of the door that leads to the Roundhouse. This will reveal the hidden green ribbon spool; place it on the unthreading device to get the gem. |

Clock Tower Gate (F1) |
Go to the western side of the room and flash the Dark-Light Device on the wall by the broken window to reveal a chest with a gem inside. |

Storm Cellar (B1) |
Remove the sheet covering the painting on top of the bed and then use Dark-Light on it to extract the ruby. |

Canyon Stairs (B1) |
Vacuum the web on the ceiling in the northeastern corner of the room. |

Quarry (B2) |
On the ground level, remove the cart from the tunnel and enter it to find the gem. |

Clockmaker's Chamber (F2) |
Remove the rug to reveal a fan inserted into the floor. Use the Poltergust 5000 to change the time displayed on the clock on the wall. An alarm clock will sound when the digital clock matches the analog clock (9:00), so be sure to set the time correctly to wake up the Greenie. Then, catch it and it will release the gem. |

Roundhouse (F2) |
After going across the first two beams, come back south through the next pair of beams, located up ahead, and turn the corner to find a chest with a gem. |

There is a brick wall in the area behind the circular sand pit; enter it from the right side and vacuum the cobweb as well as the gem. |

Gear Chamber (B1) |
On the eastern wall of the Gear Chamber, there is a path of boxes, and gamers can connect it by using the Dark-Light Device on the gap between them. The bridge will allow the players to reach the door behind the back wall, which will lead them to a secret dimension.
Gamers only have 15 seconds to collect all the red coins. To do it, they must immediately turn left, then use the gear to jump onto the other side and grab the remaining coins. |

Below the massive gear in the middle of the room, there is a hidden chest that can be revealed with the Dark-Light Device. |

Service Elevator (F1) |
There is a mirror next to the door that leads to the Gear Chamber, and it shows not visible to the player: there is a gem on a platform behind their point of view. Using the Poltergust 5000, throw Toad onto the platform, and he'll grab the ruby. |

After opening the Clock Tower Gate, go to the western area of the room and look out the window to see the last gem; bring it closer by using the Poltergust 5000. |
These gems are unlocked as gamers progress through the missions, so they're ordered accordingly; however, many of them can be found in other missions if players backtrack.
If players catch all the Boos hidden in the Old Clockworks Mansion, they'll unlock a bonus mission called Outlandish Interruption , and here, they'll be able to access most of the gems in the mansion as well. So, if they don't mind taking longer to complete the mission, this will end up saving them time, as they won't have to level-hop to get them all.
Rewards for Collecting All Old Clockworks Gems
Once gamers have gathered all 13 gems in Old Clockworks, they'll be able to view a Luigi statue decorated with rubies whenever they go to Professor E. Gadd's vault in Luigi's Mansion 2.
