Luigi's Mansion 2 wouldn't be the same without the Poltergust 5000, which is why the mustachio'd man must obtain it right at the start of the game. However, even after E. Gadd hands the Poltergust to Luigi, gamers will notice something is missing almost immediately — the Strobulb, which is what gives it the ability to flash a bright light in order to stun enemies and power up switches.
To get the missing Strobulb, players will have to get into the Foyer at Gloomy Manor in A-1 Poltergust 5000. This guide will tell fans how they can get the key to the Foyer in Luigi's Mansion 2.
Foyer Key Location
The Foyer is located in the very center of F1, past the Guard Hall, north of the mansion's entrance. However, in order to get inside, gamers will have to unlock the room, which can only be done after they've found its key.
The Foyer Key is located in the Mudroom, which is located near the Entrance, opposite the Garage. If players haven't entered the Mudroom before, they'll have to use the Poltergust 5000 to remove the sheet blocking the door and get inside.
The key's location isn't obvious right away, as players will only be able to locate it if they look up by pressing X. The Foyer key has been hidden on top of the ceiling fan's blades in the Mudroom.
How to Grab the Foyer Key
Close
To get the Foyer key back down, gamers will have to use the Poltergust 5000's vacuum function while looking up; this can be found by pressing and holding ZR while keeping X held down. The fan will start spinning out of control, which will cause the key to fall to the ground, allowing Luigi to approach it and grab it.
Once gamers have grabbed the key, they must go back up the Guard Hall and enter it. They have to repeat the same process as before to get the Strobulb, as the ghosts have left it on top of the foyer's ceiling fan blades. Players can reach it by going up the stairs; then they have to look up, and use the Poltergust 5000 to make the fan spin until it reaches the ground. It will eventually retract and go back up again, so players have to sprint downstairs in order to reach it before it happens.
