Sheep are needed to generate Wool in Manor Lords, a vital resource in the game. Here’s how you can get and breed the animal.
One of the most crucial responsibilities of the ruler in Manor Lords is to utilize resources efficiently, and there are several materials needed to manage your village to run smoothly. Livestock such as oxen, horses, mules, and sheep are such essential resources may benefit your settlement in various ways, including transportation and item supply.
Each of these animals serves a different purpose in the game. For example, sheep generate wool, which is used to manufacture clothing in Manor Lords. Unfortunately, there will be no sheep in your stable when you begin the game, so you will have to trade them with outside merchants and then use them for your task. Here is how to get sheep and wool in Manor Lords.
How to Get Sheep in Manor Lords
There are two important structures that you need to build to get Sheep: the Livestock Trading Post and the Sheep Farm.
How to Build and Use the Livestock Trading Post
The Livestock Trading post works similarly to the Trading Post; however, it is exclusively used to import or export animals such as sheep. Building this establishment is the first step towards building enough wool supply for your village and will only cost you 2 Timber.
Once you have built the Livestock Trading Post, assign one family to manage the trade, and you are all set to order some sheep for your village. Each sheep will cost you 30 Regional Wealth, a rather affordable cost for players working to increase their regional wealth in Manor Lords fast.
If you're still at the Small Village level, ordering three or four sheep should provide sufficient wool for your settlement's citizens initially. To order sheep from the merchants, go to the Livestock Trading Post and then enter the Trade menu. This will display the names of all the livestock you may trade from this post. Change the 'No Trade' status on the left side of the Sheep image to 'Import.' After that, use the + symbol to raise the quantity of Sheep you want to order from zero.
How to Build a Sheep Farm
Now that you've ordered the Sheep, a trader will deliver them to the Livestock Trading Post the next day. Meanwhile, you will need to work to construct a Sheep Farm to house the sheep you ordered, which will cost you one timber. For the time being, you will need to assign one family to the Sheep Farm, where they will continue to manage the sheep, harvest wool, and deliver it to the local market.
If you have unlocked the Sheepbreeding development point, the sheep in the pastures will gradually multiply. In this way, you won't have to import any new sheep and can generate some regional income by exporting your surplus. However, with more sheep, you will need to assign additional workers to care for them at the Sheep Farm.
