- Quivern Botan Skills & Work Suitability, Explained
The Sakurajima region is home to many pals that can't be discovered anywhere else in Palworld, some of which are variations of existing pals. One such pal is Quivern Botan, the Grass and Dragon-type beast that spends most of its day taking walks along grassy areas. Players won't find a more peaceful-looking pal than Quivern Botan despite its monstrous size and strength.
Quivern Botan is green in appearance, which differs from the original
Quivern 's blueish hue, and it adds the grass element to its arsenal. This provides Quivern Botan with an extra set of moves of its elemental nature, extending its utility in battle by helping with any trouble against the ground-type pals found in desert areas.
Where to Find and Catch Quivern Botan in Palworld
Quivern Botan Location
Quivern Botan is a peaceful creature that will never attack on sight or run away from any potential danger. Should players walk directly up into its line of sight, Quivern Botan will momentarily stop to acknowledge the player before continuing on their path. Players can expect to find individual Quivern Botan walking around quite frequently, though they may be seen in groups of two at certain times.
Players who wish to capture Quivern Botan will need to travel to the Sakurajima region, as they are only found there. Furthermore, Quivern Botan is isolated at the edge of the island before grassy fields meet sandy beaches. This shouldn't serve as much of an issue, as there is a fast travel waypoint directly linked to the small area that Quivern Botan frequents, making for an easy voyage and encounter.
Although they are calm in demeanor, Quivern Botan will attack if they are targeted or manage to escape a capture attempt. Quivern Botan has a good amount of firepower in its attacks, and a Dragon and Grass elemental combination could be tricky to take on without the proper equipment.
Be sure to pack enough ammo and a Ring of Mercy to avoid slaying the Quivern Botan before being able to catch it.
Quivern Botan may be in one of the more quiet areas of the Sakurajima region, but there are still some Yakumo venturing into the picture during some parts of the day. Yakumo attack on sight, so be sure to avoid their vicious packs while hunting Quivern Botan.
Quivern Botan Skills & Work Suitability, Explained
Quivern Botan's partner skill, Grass Dragon's Affection, is a good flying mount that players can use to get around the Sakurajima map without landing in a bad situation. The skill also enhances Quivern Botan's grass-type active skills while mounted, which means players should have at least one powerful move of this element to take advantage of it.
On the base, Quivern Botan is one of the more serviceable pals from the Sakurajima region, as it covers many fields of work. Quivern Botan has Level 3 Transporting, Level 2 Planting, Medicine Production, Mining, Gathering, and Level 1 Handiwork. This amount of versatility will keep Quivern Botan busy at all hours of the day, whether it's tending to the crops or keeping the base area clean.
For Dragon users, Quivern Botan could have some versatility in a team due to its Grass elemental bonus. Factoring into the equation that Quivern Botan gains access to high-powered moves and can be mounted, players should consider giving it a try and testing out its capabilities. At the very least, it can be one of the better base pals for late-game production of tools and medicine.
