Pokemon GO and Niantic offered players a challenge if they could complete 30 million raids during the Inbound from Ultra Space event, which is where Ultra Beasts showed up in raids, then players could have Beast Balls during Pokemon GO Fest 2024.
While it took some time, players were able to surpass the number of required raids in time to see Beast Balls added to the game once again, even if it is just for a few days. Here's everything players need to know about the Beast Balls during GO Fest.
How Do Beast Balls Work In Pokemon GO?
Beast Balls are the Pokeballs designed to catch Ultra Beasts, which were introduced in Pokemon Sun & Pokemon Moon. While any Pokeball can work on an Ultra Beast, the Beast Ball significantly increases the chance for the Pokemon to be caught, meaning if players are wanting to catch all the Ultra Beasts that they can during Pokemon GO Fest 2024, they will want to ensure that they are using the Beast Balls.
The regular Premier Balls that are used during raids will not be adequate for catching all the Ultra Beasts available during the event. Plus, the Ultra Beasts can be shiny, which is something players do not want to miss out on because they didn't have Beast Balls.
With the addition of Beast Balls to the event, players unlocked the ability to have faster recharging times during their Party Power bonuses . This means that if in a party, Charged Attacks can do more damage, leading to raids being easier to complete.
How To Get Beast Balls In Pokemon GO
During the Pokemon GO Fest, players will be able to use Beast Balls anytime that they are catching Ultra Beasts. This means that when players finish a raid and go to catch the Ultra Beast, they will have Beast Balls to use rather than Premier Balls, making the chances of them catching the Ultra Beast so much higher.
Thankfully, players have already unlocked their usage of them, so now they can sit back and enjoy the reward of having them handy during the event. It has been almost a year since the Beast Ball was last in the game, so players will want to try them out now before they have to wait another year (or even longer) to see them again.
