Pokemon is getting a set of Poke Ball nightlights that glow and project some Pokemon favorites onto the ceiling and walls. The adorable creations would be a perfect fit for those who love Pokemon, whether adults or children.
Pokemon merchandise is everywhere, both official and fan-made. If a Pokemon fan so chooses, they can decorate their entire home with their favorite Pokemon. With over a thousand Pokemon now in existence, there's tons to choose from, with some items being practical and useful, while others are purely decorative. This cute creation fits neatly in both categories.
Revealed on official Pokemon social media channels, the company is releasing seven nightlight projector Poke Balls, each with unique designs. The projectors each have a single or group of Pokemon that they can cast onto the walls and ceiling. The first has Pokemon like Cleffa, Clefairy, and Jirachi. The second features Rayquaza, while the third features Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's starters, as well as Pikachu, Piplup, and Eevee. The fourth design features Terastallized Pokemon, and the fifth is a cute scene of Snorlax, Pikachu, Eevee, and Slowpoke snoozing as Wooloo jump over them. The sixth covers Eevee and its evolutions, while the last one is a bit spookier, featuring ghost Pokemon with Gengar front and center.
In addition to projecting Pokemon on the ceiling, these Poke Balls can also be used as simple nightlights, with the Poke Ball simply illuminating. While many different kinds of collectible Poke Balls have been released over the years, this one is pretty unique in its features and design. The Poke Balls will be released on April 27 and will be sold at Pokemon Centers.
Snoozing with Pokemon
This isn't the first time that Pokemon has released collectibles that are centered around lounging and sleep. For example, Pokemon fans have been able to buy giant Snorlax beanbags and even an unusual giant plush that lets fans sleep on Gengar's tongue. There's also been simpler designs, like bed sheets, pajamas, and of course, regular-sized plush toys that are perfect for kids to snooze with.
Whether people keep an assortment of Pokemon designs in their rooms to help them sleep peacefully or set up the Pokemon Sleep app before dozing off, there's plenty of ways to celebrate the series from the time fans fall asleep to when they wake up again. Those who are interested in these Poke Ball projectors shouldn't wait too long, as Pokemon merchandise often sells out quickly.
