A last-gen version of 2023’s hit Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has reportedly been rated in Brazil, meaning that Star Wars fans may soon get to play through Cal Kestis’s latest adventure on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Star Wars Jedi series first began with 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which rose above a wave of divisive Star Wars games thanks to its gripping single-player story and challenging Soulslike gameplay. This combination was further refined in last year’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which saw Cal embark on a new mission to uncover a lost Jedi sanctuary during the height of the Galactic Empire’s reign of terror.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was met with positive reception overall, with many considering it to be one of the best Star Wars games released in the past few decades. The game’s sales figures matched this acclaim, with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor being the most downloaded game on the US and European PlayStation Store for over a month after its release last April. While Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was initially launched on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, word of a possible last-gen version for PS4 and Xbox One first spread back in August.

Fans might not have to wait too much longer for this last-gen version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor according to a recent scoop from VGC contributor Andrew Marmo. The game’s PS4 and Xbox One ports have just been rated in Brazil, and a screenshot from the country’s classification website has been posted as proof of the claim. While this doesn’t necessarily mean that the last-gen versions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor are imminent, it’s worth pointing out that these classifications tend to happen as the game in question nears its release.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Could Be Coming To PS4 And Xbox One Soon

While the gaming world waits for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to make its debut on PS4 and Xbox One, developer Respawn has been refining the current versions with numerous updates that mainly address the bugs and technical issues that initially befell the PC port of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Additionally, Respawn is reportedly already working on the third installment of its Star Wars Jedi trilogy, with various job listings hinting at the next chapter in Cal Kestis's emotional saga.

When Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was about to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, Game Director Stig Asmussen explained that the game was skipping the previous generation due to the team at Respawn wanting to take advantage of the current gen's improved hardware, though it was later confirmed that it was bound for the older consoles anyway. Neither EA nor Respawn has made any further announcements of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s upcoming last-gen versions, but this recent Brazilian rating is a sign that the hit Star Wars game may appear on PS4 and Xbox One soon.
