Nvidia is giving out one free month of PC Game Pass to some gamers who have a GeForce GTX 10 Series or newer. Hopefully, this will allow more PC players to experiment with Game Pass and its massive library.
Earlier this year, GeForce NOW users gained the ability to purchase Day Passes for Game Pass, which offered six to eight hours of cloud streaming sessions for a low price. This allowed gamers to use the service without committing to a full subscription. Now, however, it seems that Nvidia is going one step further to try to push users toward Microsoft’s subscription service.
Nvidia recently started to offer one month of PC Game Pass to some players via Nvidia Rewards. Claiming the reward is fairly easy, and can be done only once per account. Gamers need only create an Nvidia account, download and install GeForce Experience or NVIDIA app beta, log into the service, and head to the Rewards section to claim the prize. To be eligible for the free month, however, gamers need to use a computer with an Nvidia GPU from the GeForce GTX 10 Series onward. Also, Nvidia Rewards is not available to people from North Korea, China, Turkey, Argentina, Libya, Russia, Hong Kong, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and India, meaning that players in these countries won’t be able to participate in this promotion.
How To Gain One Free Month Of PC Game Pass Using Nvidia Rewards
- Create an Nvidia account if you don't have one.
- Be sure to be using a desktop PC or laptop with a GeForce GTX 10 Series or newer.
- Download GeForce Experience or the NVIDIA app beta and log in.
- Go to the "Redeem" section.
- Claim your reward (one month of PC Game Pass) if available.
This new promotion seems to be part of Microsoft’s recent push towards expanding Game Pass for the PC market, where the service is still not as popular as on Xbox consoles. Microsoft recently announced several changes to Xbox Game Pass, including the end of Game Pass Console, a new tier without day-one games called Game Pass Standard, and price hikes for old tiers. However, PC Game Pass continues to offer day-one titles, indicating that Microsoft still believes that there’s growth to be had in the sector.
2024 is an excellent time to be a Game Pass subscriber. In August, several new games, such as the positively reviewed Creatures of Ava, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, and Doom + Doom 2 have been added, with other popular titles like Mafia: Definitive Edition and Core Keeper coming in the future.
2025 is also looking incredible for Xbox Game Pass. At the moment, day-one titles such as Avowed, Doom: The Dark Ages, Fable, and Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 are all planned for next year, and they will all be available instantly for PC Game Pass subscribers.
