A brand-new mod for Starfield allows players to wear cheese armor, in one of the more bizarre releases to date. The Starfield modding community always delivers some interesting creations, and this one is no different.
Like other Bethesda games, Starfield has quickly developed a strong modding scene, which consistently improves upon the base game. As the Creation Kit for Starfield has yet to be released, it's fair to say that the game has yet to reach its full potential in this regard, although there are already a ton of amazing mods for the game. One recent Starfield mod even added a classic Star Wars ship to the game, and there's no doubt that the scale of what is possible will only increase when the Creation Kit is finally released.
The Starfield cheese armor mod is on Nexus Mods from user GodofcheeseSWE, and it's definitely a tiny bit cursed. It's a retexture of the Mantis armor set, with gold, yellow, and cheese textures added. The word "uwu" has been added twice to the front of the helmet, and a sentence printed on the back reads "Cheddar is the worst." It's certainly an interesting take on some of the best apparel in Starfield, with one user in the comments describing it as "The mod we didn't need but we deserve." According to GodofcheeseSWE, they actually made this mod when Starfield was first released, but have only now "decided to release it in its not so nice glory."
Starfield Cheese Armor Mod
Since the release of Starfield, modders have definitely had a lot of fun with the Mantis armor set. Just after its launch, another Starfield mod turned the Mantis set into the Mandalorian's armor, showing what was possible with mods, and it's only gotten better from there. Hopefully, as Starfield continues to improve through updates, even more modders commit themselves to the game, giving players even more unique content to experience.
2024 is going to be a massive year for Starfield. Fans of Starfield are already loving the new update, which makes great strides in making the game everything players expected at release. Given the game's divisive reception at launch, it's huge that Bethesda has already managed to win over some players through content patches. Later this year, the developer will also release the Shattered Space DLC for the game, which will represent another huge opportunity to show the true potential of Starfield. Hopefully, Bethesda can stick the landing throughout the rest of 2024, and Starfield finishes the year in a much healthier place than it started.
