Staying true to its battle royale nature, the game has introduced a Battle Pass, offering various rewards, such as weapon skins, emotes and various other rewards.

The Battle Pass is divided into free and premium versions, similar to other shooter games. The free version offers a limited number of items, whereas the upgraded option offers more exclusive rewards. If you are interested in knowing how much the Battle Pass costs and whether it’s worth buying, this guide offers all the information.

How Much Is the Battle Pass?

In The First Descendant, the battle pass is available in two versions, a free and a premium version. While the free version is available without any cost, the premium one comes with two plans. Here's the breakdown of the costs and what each version includes:

Premium Plus Upgrade Battle Pass	1500 Caliber	This version includes all premium rewards and gives you a head start by skipping the first 25 levels. To purchase 1500 Caliber, you can buy a bundle of 1060 Caliber for $19.99 (£15.99) and a bundle of 520 Caliber for $9.99 (£7.99). In total, the Premium Upgrade battle pass will cost $29.98 (£23.98).

Is the Battle Pass Worth It?

In the Battle Pass, there are a total of 96 rewards available, which you can unlock as you level up by completing challenges. The free version provides access to only 23 rewards, which include only a few skins, emotes, and upgradable items.

On the other hand, the premium version offers more exclusive rewards, as well as additional Calibers and other in-game currencies. Luckily, you can use these currencies to unlock game items, or save Calibers for the next battle pass.

However, it is important to note that the Premium Plus upgrade version of the battle pass costs three times the price of a regular premium pass. This version gives you a head start by skipping the initial 25 levels. Since the battle pass lasts for about two months, this version may not be worth upgrading as you have enough time to reach the final level.
