The First Descendant has many different NPCs spread throughout the game. Talking to these NPCs will be vital to push the game forward. Luckily, most of them will have a purple flag marking them, and will be pretty easy to find. There are also Sub Quests that may have some players getting turned around.
One such Sub Quest will have players needing to find Anais, the key NPC in researching the game’s numerous Descendants and Ultimate weapons. Once players know where she is, they will be paying her frequent visits over the course of the game.

Players need only to open their world map and select Albion as their destination. While their first instinct will be to travel to the same location they first arrived in Albion, there is actually a second fast travel point. Players will need to either zoom out, or pan the screen to the lower left side. Here, they will see a second green circle that they can fast travel to — and save a lot of time walking.
From this point, there will be 3 key NPCs they can get to with a short sprint. To the right will be Deslin, and to the left will be Silion and Anais. Anais will be located in the Research Institute, which is the circle to the northwest of the circle with the fast travel point. Simply walk forward, make a left turn and then follow the wall to its entrance.
What Does Anais Do In The First Descendant?
Anais will be a vital NPC for the sub quests in acquiring the Descendent known as Bunny, but also in players getting their first Ultimate Weapon. These act as introductory tasks to help players understand the mechanics required for unlocking all of the Descendants in the game. Players should familiarize themselves with the Descendants, Weapons, and Materials they will need for the builds they are pursuing. Luckily, tracking these is a simple task once players get the hang of it.

This is not an easy question to answer, players will want to do their research. If they are playing a lot of Bunny and wish to make the best build they can for her, then they should save their resources for the Ultimate weapons that will suit her best. Do not worry too much early on, just play the game to unlock all the missions, understand all the mechanics, and find what you enjoy playing. Then you will be armed with all the knowledge to make informed decisions for where and what to farm — such as the Stunning Beauty Colossi.
