Like every other island on the Isle of the Blessed, the blue island in the second chapter of The Talos Principle 2’s DLC, Road to Elysium, presents players with eight challenging puzzles, each more intricate than the last. Mastering these puzzles is crucial to activating the Blue Lighthouse and advancing the storyline. For fans seeking a quick completion of the DLC, here is a comprehensive guide.

To help the beginner players of The Talos Principle 2, we’ve piled up a quick glossary of the game’s terminologies:

  • RGB Converter: A device that can convert two laser colors. (It creates a Blue Laser if you give it Red and Green, Green if you give it Red and Blue, and Red if you give it Green and Blue.)
  • Gravshifter: A device that can create Gravity Beams on Magnetic Walls. Gravity Beams can move objects from one side of the map to the other.
  • Driller: You can use this device to poke holes in specific walls.
  • Jammer: An electromagnetic device that can disable certain puzzle elements such as Gates and Fans.
  • Activator: When connected to an energy source, the Activator can unlock gates.
  • Clone: An alternative body that you can take control of.
  • Generator: This is an RGB (Red, Green, or Blue) device that is the source of laser beams.
  • Receiver: A Receiver is a red, green, or blue device that’s activated when by a same-color laser beam.
  • Connector: You can use this device to move the laser beams or connect them to other devices. The Connector cannot generate a laser beam on its own.
  • Accumulator: Unlike a Connector, an Accumulator can generate laser beams once it’s charged by a Generator.
  • Pressure Plate: A device on the ground that activates puzzles mechanics when pressed.
  • Hexahedron: A cube-like object used to block laser beams, access higher grounds, or press the Pressure Plates.

Blue-5: The Intruder

Close

  • Position the Connector on the Pressure Plate behind the wall, on the right flank of the room.
  • Replace the Connector with the Hexahedron.
  • Take the Connector, link it from the Red Receiver to the Red Generator, and place it over the other Pressure Plate near the puzzle room entrance.
  • Retrieve the Hexahedron and place it just behind the blue gate, to the right of the Connector.
  • Use the Gravshifter to create a Gravity Beam on the Magnetic Wall left of the Connector. Stand on the Pressure Plate next to the Hexahedron to pull it out of the locked area.
  • Take the Hexahedron and Gravshifter to the final puzzle area.
  • Position the Hexahedron over the Fan.
  • Now, retrieve the Connector. To avoid closing the gate by removing it from the Pressure Plate, walk on the Magnetic Wall until you are high enough to jump over the fences.
  • Link the Connector to the Blue Generator and the Blue Receiver and place it on the Hexahedron.
  • Use the Gravshifter to create a Gravity Beam on the wall across from the Fan and position the device itself over the Pressure Plate.

Blue-6: The Trident Enigma
