In 2023, Game Science confirmed that Black Myth: Wukong will be released on August 20, 2024. And now the developer has also confirmed exactly what time players will be able to unlock the game on the 20th. The official announcement says that Black Myth: Wukong will be available to play at 10:00 AM UTC +8. Remember that Game Science is based in China, so the release time uses their official time zone. Black Myth: Wukong will come in a variety of editions, and includes the 'Trailblazer's Scarlet Gourd' as a pre-order bonus with every version.

Will Black Myth: Wukong be Coming to Xbox?
Yes, Black Myth: Wukong will be coming to Xbox Series X/S. While it was originally supposed to be released for the platform on day one, Game Science announced that they had to delay the release to improve optimization. Microsoft recently commented on the game, stating that they are still very excited about Black Myth: Wukong, and are working with Game Science to get the game out as soon as possible. There is currently no release date set.
