One thing that the modern WoW Classic does differently from the original classic is that it has Seasons of Discovery. This allows players to see and experience new content as they continue their journey in the game. Here's all the information players need for the release of the SoD Phase 4 release.
When Will SoD Phase 4 Be Released In WoW Classic?

Blizzard announced that they would be releasing the game's fourth phase of Season of Discovery on July 11, 2024, at 1 p.m. Pacific Time (or 4 p.m. Eastern Time). This means that the phase will go live during the day on Thursday, leaving a lot of fans excited to see what is in store for this next phase.
What Will Phase 4 Of Season Of Discovery Add?
According to Blizzard's YouTube channel (via the clip above), players are going to have a lot to look forward to during this Season of Discovery Phase. The new phase of Season of Discovery is going to add a ton of new stuff to the game. According to the patch notes, players can expect a lot from this phase, and it will keep them engaged in new content for a while. Here's a short breakdown of what will change in the new phase:
- The max level will change from 50 to 60
- New mounts will be added
- All Classic zones will be unlocked
- New World Buffs will be added (including increased experience)
- New Runes will be added
- New Currency (Tarnished Undermine Real) will be earned from dungeon bosses
- Class changes
- Updates for professions and reputations
- New dungeons will be added, and other dungeons will be updated
- Alterac Valley Battleground will be added
- PvP Class Sets for Rank 10 will be added
- New World Event will be added
Needless to say, players will have a ton of new content to explore as soon as Phase 4 goes live, and they will probably be busy for some time.
