The Grizzlemaw Bear is an animal in Tears of the Kingdom that can provide multiple material drops, most significantly, Raw Gourmet Meat. As you will likely need to stock up on this item at some point, knowing where to find them may come in handy.
Where to Find Grizzlemaw Bear in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Grizzlemaw Bears are a large creature in Tears of the Kingdom that can be hunted for meat or salmon material drops, including Raw Prime Meat, Raw Gourmet Meat, and Hearty Salmon. As these items are all quite valuable when it comes to cooking dishes for Link to consume during his adventure, the Grizzlemaw bear makes quite a solid hunting target, so knowing where to track them down can help make your search as quick as possible.
In general, Grizzlemaw Bears can be found roaming various locations in the Hebra Mountains and Gerudo Highlands areas. To help you identify Grizzlemaw Bears in these areas, you can use your Sensor+ to help track down these creatures for easier farming, as this device will indicate when a target is nearby.
However, if you're struggling with finding Grizzlemaw Bears through a general search around these locations, then there is also one known spawn point in which a Grizzlemaw Bear can be found pretty consistently. This location is on the Western side of the Hebra Mountains, found near the cliffs at the approximate coordinates of 1516, -3576, 0142. If you're struggling to determine this exact spawn point, then feel free to refer to the map screenshot below, where a pin has marked this area in purple.
In addition to this first spawn point, there is a second location in which a Grizzlemaw Bear can be found in Gerudo Highlands. This location isn't too far from the Yiga Clan Hideout marker on the world map, located just north of Vatorsa Snowfield. At the approximate coordinates of -3603, -1043, 0558, a Grizzlemaw Bear can be found sitting around in the center of the circle of trees.
After hunting down a few Grizzlemaw Bears, you should have a small selection of Raw Prime Meat, Raw Gourmet Meat, and Hearty Salmon. Raw Prime Meat can be used to cook many different meals, Hearty Salmon can be used to cook meals and add the Hearty bonus to the dish. As Hearty offers full heart recovery and gives temporary additional hearts, this is a cooking material that you'll want to make the most of — just remember not to mix in any other bonuses, as they will cancel each other out.
Lastly, Raw Gourmet Meat can be used to cook a variety of different dishes or fuse it to your weapon, arrows, or shield. When fused to either your shield or weapon, Raw Gourmet Meat will provide a +1 attack power bonus. While fused to an arrow, on the other hand, this item can be used as a distraction, as it lures nearby enemies and causes them to feast on the meat.
