Part of the Cunning Hares, Anby is one of the best Stun units that players will gain access to early into their Zenless Zone Zero journey. Part of the core team that begins the game, Anby is given to players just for progressing the story. She's capable of dishing out large amounts of Daze to a single target if players can utilize her special Core Skill: Fluctuating Voltage, which rewards those who activate her Special Attack or EX Special Attack after the third-hit of her Basic Attack combo.
Here's a look at how to build Anby in Zenless Zone Zero and get the best out of the Electric Stun unit.

Anby's Skills, Explained In ZZZ — Zenless Zone Zero
Although Anby doesn't offer her squad much in the way of teamwide buffs like other characters, she stands as one of the best Stun units currently available and is especially useful to F2P players as they gain access to her automatically for free as part of the game's storyline. Anby is a very capable sub-DPS that can stack both Electric damage and Daze quickly, making her a great team asset for anyone looking to carry a dedicated stunner with them into the Hollow.
Although Anby can apply Daze and Electric damage fairly well with just her Basic Attacks, she has a unique mechanic that helps her ramp up these values for players that know how to utilize her kit. For one, players can make use of Basic Attack — Thunderbolt to add Electric Damage to her normal combo. To execute the skill, players need to use three Basic Attacks, then pause for a moment before holding down the Basic Attack button once again to execute Basic Attack — Thunderbolt. This fourth hit will apply Electric Damage and Anby's Anti Interrupt is increased when using the skill.
Anby's best abilities, her Special Attack and EX Special Attack, work in conjunction with this unique combo setup. If players activate her Special Attack or EX Special Attack after the third-hit of a Basic Attack combo, or after Basic Attack — Thunderbolt, it will come out faster. This is key to quickly applying large amounts of Daze to enemies. Her Core Passive — Fluctuating Voltage, will also apply much more Daze when Anby uses her Special Attack or EX Special Attack after the third-hit of Anby's Basic Attack.
Anby's Best W-Engine In ZZZ — Zenless Zone Zero
The W-Engine that suits Anby best is tied to how players plan on using the scrappy Stun unit. The Restrained can be a great S-Rank option for those that opt to keep Anby on the field for longer periods of time, as it will increase her Damage and Daze from Basic Attacks. The Demara Battery Mark II A-Rank and Vortex — Arrow B-Rank are also good options for those that plan to put Anby in and leave her in to sustain damage for longer periods of time past just Dazing their foe.
Anby's abilities make her a great Stun unit and a suitable sub-DPS but her lack of "team buffing" means players can freely swap her in and out to primarily Daze enemies without worrying about missing out on valuable buffs. This makes W-Engines like the S-Rank Hellfire Gears a very useful option, as they will help increase her Energy Regeneration for her incredibly useful EX Special Attack while she's off the field. The A-Rank Steam Oven is another great option as it will increase her Energy Regeneration and reward her with an Attack buff based on how much Energy she has stored. This will help Anby do better damage as a sub-DPS while also ensuring she can stack the maximum amount of Daze thanks to her stored Energy for her EX Special Attack.
Anby's Best Drive Discs In ZZZ — Zenless Zone Zero
Anby's best Drive Discs in Zenless Zone Zero are pretty straightforward. She will benefit the most from Shockstar Disco, as the 4-piece set will not only increase her Impact, but also increase the amount of Daze she applies to enemies using her Basic Attacks, Dash Attacks, and Dodge Counters. A 2-Piece set of Swing Jazz can help with her Energy Regeneration for her EX Special Attack. Players can also opt for a 4-Piece Thunder Metal set to increase her Electric Damage and buff her attack towards shocked enemies if they prefer.
Since Anby works well as a sub-DPS and is capable of dishing out solid damage in addition to her Daze capabilities, players should opt for a CRIT DMG or CRIT Rate main stat on Disc Drive 4. Electric Damage Bonus on Disc Drive 5 is a good bet and players should focus on Impact on Disc Drive 6 to help with her Stun. When it comes to sub-stats, the main focus should be on CRIT Rate, Crit DMG, and Attack%.
