In Zenless Zone Zero, factions are what holds the city of New Eridu together amidst all the chaos and mayhem. Each character belongs to a faction, which upholds a certain value and decorum when operating in the city. Since the city is filled with Hollows that can be detrimental to citizens, the factions contribute in their own way to minimize the damage.

From espionage to criminal investigations, these factions each have their own stories, adding depth to Zenless Zone Zero’s narrative and giving players an idea of what they actually represent in New Eridu. Most of the characters are playable; however, there are some factions that have yet to be officially introduced with all their respective members. Cunning Hares A.K.A. Gentle House

Officially named Gentle House, Cunning Hares is a human resource dispatch agency faction in ZZZ. Their members are considered to be masters in strategy and stealth, excelling in espionage and all tactical operations. They’re pretty resourceful, and if the price is right, they’ll take on any Hollow-related challenge.

Belobog Heavy Industries

Known to be one of the most influential ZZZ factions, Belobog Heavy Industries are direct rivals of Cunning Hares. They’re also known for their state-of-the-art technology and engineering expertise, which has played a big role in the city’s development. Most of the members of this faction use weapons specially made by themselves.

Victoria Housekeeping Co.

Aside from being the resident domestic helper in New Eridu, Victoria Housekeeping is also skilled at removing threats lurking in one's home. Victoria Housekeeping looks fairly innocent at first glance, but behind their prime and proper smiles lies a strict and efficient team that specializes in internal affairs. Players may also notice that each Victoria Housekeeping member is based on western horror themes.

Criminal Investigation Special Response Team

The Criminal Investigation Special Response Team specializes in law enforcement and is tasked with addressing criminal activities in New Eridu. Their members aim to focus most of their efforts on delivering justice as efficiently and swiftly as possible. They work under the New Eridu Public Security Division, so most of their commissions are done under watchful eyes.

Hollow Special Operations Section 6

Codenamed as Section 6, this faction is an armed force under H.A.N.D. (another faction in ZZZ). They are often the first response team when it comes to high-risk Hollow disasters. Compared to all the other factions, Section 6 is said to have the strongest and most terrifying members.

Sons Of Calydon

The Sons of Calydon live on the wildside, valuing freedom and individuality above all else. They love joyriding using motorbikes and trucks, which means that they mainly operate outside of New Eridu and rarely enter the city.

Obol Squad

As of right now, Obol Squad is the smallest faction in ZZZ, with only one member being introduced. It is directly tied to the New Eridu Defense Force’s Obsidian Division and is run by their most promising fighter, Soldier 11. They are known for their battle strategy and military might, and they are one of the main factions responsible for keeping citizens safe.

Virtual Idols

Virtual Dolls is the final faction in ZZZ, and unfortunately, not many details have been released on them yet. This section will be updated as soon as more information on this team arrives in the game.
