A new Vampire: The Masquerade game is on the way — and no, it’s not Bloodlines 2. Called Vampire: The Masquerade – Reckoning of New York, it’s a new entry into the visual novel series, providing yet more detail about the rich world of this vampire series.
Reckoning of New York joins Coteries of New York and Shadows of New York as the third and final part of the visual novel series. Each game focuses on the different vampire factions existing in New York, giving us a deep dive into their lives and affiliations. This time, the story will focus on the Ravnos and Malkavian clans.
There’ll be two main characters, each providing a very different perspective on life as a vampire in the world of Vampire: The Masquerade. Reckoning of New York promises new gameplay mechanics, which means it may be a little more hands-on than the previous two entries. Players can look forward to harnessing the power of different Disciplines while they evade the pursuit of hunters.

Unfortunately, there’s no release date for Vampire: The Masquerade – Reckoning of New York just yet. But you can try it out right now via a free Steam demo. When it does release, it’ll be available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
Elsewhere in Vampire: The Masquerade news, we’re pleased to say that work is continuing on Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Just last week, a dev diary was uploaded to publisher Paradox Interactive’s website, showing how progress is coming along. There’s unfortunately no release date yet, though.
