First announced way back in 2021 and formally revealed earlier this summer, we finally have a release date for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. And it turns out the road ahead to its launch isn’t all that long: it’s set to release on October 17th.

This movie spin-off game will be arriving just in time for Halloween, then, and we’re looking forward to trying it. Its last trailer dropped just last month and left us rather excited for this story-driven horror. You’ll take on the role of college student Alex. Suffering from asthma, her fight for survival is made that much harder in that staying quiet isn’t always easy. But just like the films, her silence is the key to survival.

As a player, you’ll need to avoid making sound as you make your way around environments. And we’re pretty sure there’ll be more than your fair share of hair-raising encounters with A Quiet Place’s terrifying monsters.

Along with the release date, publisher Saber Interactive and developer Stormind Games has dropped another new trailer to whet our appetites further:

Like the look of it? It’s coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on 17th October — just over two months away. The best part? This is a cut-price release, so it’ll be available for just £24.99/$29.99 Pre-orders are open now, too.

In the meantime, you can still see A Quiet Place: Day One in cinemas to get your fix of this terrifying world.
