Are you wondering if you can play the latest Mario game, Super Mario Wonder on a Switch Lite? Read on.
The Switch Lite is the Switch’s little sibling; the exclusively-handheld console from Nintendo. It can’t be docked, like the regular Switch can, and it doesn’t have removable Joy-Cons. As such, while most Switch games can be played on the Switch Lite, some can’t. Games like Ring Fit Adventure, 1-2-Switch and Super Mario Party require Joy-Cons to play, and so you can’t play them on Switch Lite. The question is: can you play Super Mario Wonder on a Switch Lite?
You’ll be pleased to know that, yes, Super Mario Wonder is perfectly playable on any Switch, whether it’s a Switch Lite, a regular Switch or a Switch OLED. Simply put the cartridge into your console (or download it from the eShop), and you’re good to go.
There are a couple of limitations if you’re playing on Switch Lite, however. Some actions in Super Mario Wonder can be performed by a shake of the controller. You won’t be able to do these on Switch Lite, but it doesn’t affect how the game plays. We find it much easier to use the buttons anyway.
