EA Sports UFC 5 is set to get a little bit better today, with its latest update not only offering a number of big fixes, but also valuable gameplay improvements and some new fighters.
At around 10am PT / 6pm GMT today, three new fighters will become playable in EA Sports UFC 5 after being requested by fans. The fighters are Joe Pyfer, Maycee Barber and Bryce Mitchell, and all are rated four stars out of five.
That means they have some pretty impressive stats, with Joe Pyfer excelling in Punch Power, Kick Speed and Kick Power, Maycee Barber being particularly strong when it comes to Punch Power, Punch Speed and Ground Striking, and Bryce Mitchell coming out on top when it comes to Takedowns, Top Game and Submission offense.
As well as these new fighters being added, a number of gameplay improvements aim to make EA Sports UFC 5 a better game overall going forward. In addition to AI behaviours being tweaked to make combat feel more realistic overall, there are also grappling enhancements and an overhaul of the game’s striking mechanics, with the cost of missed, blocked and evaded strikes tactically increased in the short term and more.
