If you want to be as strong as you possibly can be and overcome the greatest challenges that Diablo 4 has to offer, you’ll likely want to have one or more Uber Unique items equipped. Ultra-rare, Uber Uniques roll with the best stats and offer powerful bonuses that often make them the best-in-slot if your character can use them. Thankfully, a feature has been added since launch that allows you to craft Uber Uniques in Diablo 4, too, but it’s not cheap or easy. So, how do you craft Uber Uniques in Diablo 4?
To craft Uber Uniques in Diablo 4 you first need to find some, unfortunately. Uber Uniques can drop anywhere in the world during most activities, but the chances are very, very low. If you want to target them, your best bet is to farm the Echo of Duriel boss, who’s found just east of the town of Gea Kul in Kehjistan. To get the materials needed to fight him, however, you’ll also need to farm two further bosses: Echo of Varshan at the Tree of Whispers, and Grigoire The Galvanic Saint found in the Hall of the Penitent in the Dry Steppes.
It’s also important to be aware of which Unique items in Diablo 4 are actually Uber Uniques. There are only seven of them, in fact, and they can only be found in World Tier 4 at level 85 or higher. Once you’ve found a Uber Unique, if it’s one you can make use of you’ll probably want to equip it and be happy. If it’s a duplicate or one you don’t really want, however, take it to a Blacksmith and break it down to receive a Resplendent Spark. You need five of these Resplendent Sparks to be able to craft a Uber Unique.
Once you have five Resplendent Sparks and are ready to craft a Uber Unique, head on over to the Alchemist. That’s right, the person who creates elixirs and upgrades your health potions is also capable of creating powerful items for you. Talk to the Alchemist, and head over to the Transmutation tab; there you’ll find an option to Transmute Resplendent Sparks. You’re free to choose which Uber Unique you want to craft with your Resplendent Sparks, but be aware that it also costs 50 million gold. That’s quite a sum. It’s worth it though, if you have five Uber Uniques that are useless to you.
