While Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a throwback to earlier games in the series, that hasn’t stopped Ubisoft adding some new features. One of those is the Favor Token system, which allows you to bargain with various NPCs and also open certain chests. But how do you get Favor Tokens in Assassin’s Creed Mirage?
There are three Favor Token types in Assassin’s Creed Mirage – Scholar, Merchant and Power. As mentioned, you can use them in a variety of ways. Merchant Favor Tokens, for example, can be used to lower vendor prices and open certain chests. Power Favor Tokens, on the other hand, are useful for hiring mercenaries. Needless to say, it’s a good idea to have a stock of each type of Favor Token available, just in case you run into a situation in which one would be useful.
To get Favor Tokens in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, be they scholar, merchant or power, you have multiple options. The first is to complete contracts, which can be picked up at notice boards in the numerous Hidden Ones’ Bureaus spread across Baghdad. Check the board and you’ll be able to see which contracts are available, as well as what they offer as a reward. Each contract also has an optional objective to complete which can boost your rewards.
The alternative way to get merchant, scholar and power Favor Tokens in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is to engage in the act of pickpocketing. Enable Classic Eagle and look for NPC with gold purses – these are the one’s you should be targeting to get Favor Tokens. You’re not guaranteed to get one every time, and you never know which type of Favor Token you’ll get, but it’s an easy way to gain a decent stock of them.
