Find out how to get Hero Tokens in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
While in the original Marvel’s Spider-Man you increased things like your health by leveling up, in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 things have been switched up a bit. Instead, if you want to be able to take more hits in combat, swing faster or improve your strength, you need to buy suit upgrades. The problem is, many of these suit upgrades require Hero Tokens. So, how do you get Hero Tokens in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
There are many ways to get Hero Tokens in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but not all are available from the outset of the game. Initially you can get them by completing The Flame side-missions, which have red flame icons on the map. Shortly after that, you’ll also be able to get them by completing Hunter Bases, which are displayed on the map with pink shields. Later in the game, you can get them from Cultural Museum missions (yellow trumpet icon), Mysteriums (green eye icon), and Symbiote nests (red swirl icon).
Getting Hero Tokens isn’t all that hard, then – you simply have to engage with the side-content of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. If you want to maximise the Hero Tokens you earn, however, and get a bunch early into the game, it’s wise to complete crimes and side missions in each district in order to fill its progress bar. Fill the bar in a district and you’ll nab some Hero Tokens. With so many districts available, lots of Hero Tokens can be easily acquired this way.
