Hitting enemies with punches, kicks and special abilities is effective enough, but sometimes it’s nice to have a little bit of extra something. Thankfully gadgets make a return in Marvel’s Spider-man 2, though you’ll need to unlock many of them. After that it’s worth upgrading them, too, to make them that bit more useful. To do all this, however, you’re going to need Rare Tech Parts. So, how do you get Rare Tech Parts in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
You’ll find that there are multiple ways to get Rare Tech Parts in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and they all involve engaging with the game’s side-content. You’ll first be able to get Rare Tech Parts by finding and completing Prowler Stashes, for example, which appear on the map as purple mask icons once found. After that, you’ll also be able to get them by completing EMF Experiments (green icon), Hunter Blinds (red crossed swords icon), and Unidentified Targets (yellow bird icon).
If you want to earn lots of Rare Tech Parts early in the game, you might want to complete some random crimes and side-missions in each district. You’ll fill a progress bar in each district as you do so, and the first reward is some Rare Tech Parts. Needless to say, you can earn a lot of Rare Tech Parts quickly this way. You’ll earn lots of standard Tech Parts, too, which are always useful.
