Do you need help figuring out how to grow an ash plume plant in Botany Manor? Here’s everything you need to know.
Despite requiring a lot of clues, growing an Ash Plume in Botany Manor is actually quite simple. But you’ll need to gather everything up in order to know what to do. Essentially, this hardened seed needs an additional stage before it can bloom — and it favours smoky environments. It’s a good job, then, that there’s a smoking hut out in the garden.
The Pyrophiles book in the screens passage (just off the main entrance hallway in the house) will give you a key clue about the ash plume: its seed is hard, and needs cracking before it can be opened. The cookbook in the kitchen, open on a page about roasting chestnuts, might give you a helpful clue there. Essentially, the ash plume seed needs roasting before it can flower.
As for how it flowers, the seed log out in the rose garden tells us that ash plume has been found in Dartmoor. And the poem in the servants hall tells us that Dartmoor is filled with oak trees.
So: plant an ash plume seed on the planting table in the hallway of the manor. Put soil in the pot, the seed, and then water it. First, we need to take it to the kitchen and place it above the stove. The seed will roast, and after a few seconds you’ll see it sprout. It’s now ready to bloom!
Take it to the smoking hut, and place it on the side. Grab an oak log — found outside, just by the kitchen door — and put an oak log in the smoker’s grill. Wait a few seconds, and the ash plume will bloom.
