You’re likely to take damage a lot in combat while playing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, so here’s everything you need to know about how to heal.
There are two main ways to heal in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The first is by using dapophet plants: these large, pineapple-shaped plants grow near water. Their bark is covered in pods which can be picked off and stored by you to heal with when you need it.
When you’re inside a human encampment, however, you’re unlikely to come across dapophet plants. Rather, you’ll find green first-aid boxes on the wall. Not every camp has them, but larger structures will certainly have multiple of them. Simply interact with them and you’ll store one to use later.
To use your healing supplies, then, simply press left on the d-pad. Your health bar can be seen at the bottom of the screen, so keep an eye on it and make sure you use a health kit when necessary. You can also simply move out of danger and your health bar will automatically replenish itself in around 10 seconds.
Initially you can hold two dapophet pods/first aid kits, but by spending skill points you can upgrade how many you can hold.
You can also upgrade your health bar, giving you more health overall, by finding special plants dotted around the map. Called Bellsprig, these plants can be found all over and are typically hidden in harder to reach places. You’ll find them marked on your map in areas you’ve travelled through, so keep an eye out for them.
