Being a sequel, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged has more than just a new assortment of tracks and vehicles; it has some new features, too. There are now more ways to make use of your valuable boost, for example. As well as activating a burst of speed, it can also be used to quickly dash left and right in order to swipe opponents or avoid obstacles, as well as jump. But how do you jump in Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged?
Jumping is easy when you know how in Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged. In fact, all you need to do is press the Triangle button if you’re playing with a PlayStation controller, and Y button if you’re playing with an Xbox controller. The caveat is, as mentioned above, your boost meter needs to be charged a little in order to jump. If your boost meter is empty, then, you can’t jump, which may end up with you falling into a chasm or running into an obstacle.
Thankfully there are many ways to gain boost in Hot Wheel Unleashed 2: Turbocharged. You can drive over blue boost pads, for example, drift, or even simply slipstream your opponents. Once you have some boost, perhaps don’t use it all unless you know there are no obstacles or gap to avoid, just in case. One last thing to note when it comes to how to jump in Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is that some vehicles can actually double jump, allowing you to gain even more height.
