There’s a brand new character introduced in Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express: Joanna Locke. While this retelling of the famous Poirot story is largely faithful, it’s been mixed up and modernised in a number of ways. Primarily, a new subplot has been added in, giving players control of American police officer, Joanna Locke. When you first meet her, she’s unconscious – and she has with her a locked briefcase. So: how do you open Joanna Locke’s briefcase in Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express?
The first thing you need to know is that you don’t need to find the combination. There are limited things you can interact with in Joanna’s compartment on the train, and so as you try to search for a combination, you’ll quickly be stumped. Instead, you simply need to begin interacting with the lock. You need to crack it.
Start turning and listen out for a ‘click’ sound. The wiggly line animation around the lock will also become more lively as you find the right number. Pay attention, then, and you’ll quickly crack each number.
However, part way through opening Joanna Locke’s briefcase, Bouc will start talking and he won’t shut up. The noise he’s making means you can’t hear the clicks. You’ll need to back out of the briefcase and go and talk to Bouc. Tell him to be quiet!
