Multiplayer has finally arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley! Read on to find out how to join your friends.
The latest update to Disney Dreamlight Valley has finally brought multiplayer to the game. With it, you can invite friends to your valley and visit other people’s valleys. It also brings a special kind of currency to the game – Pixel Shards – which can be used to craft unique items. But how do you play Disney Dreamlight Valley in multiplayer?
The first thing you need to do is complete a specific quest. As long as your game is up to date, Vanellope will have a new quest for you: Valley Visits. Speak to Vanellope, and she’ll give you a strange contraption. It’s called the Valley Visit Station, and interacting with it will let you initiate multiplayer. Once Vanellope has given it to you, find somewhere to place it. It needs to be outside, but anywhere of your choice is fine.
How to invite friends to your village in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Once it’s placed, interact with the Valley Visit Station. You’ll be asked if you want to open a connection. You do, so choose ‘Open up a connection for Valley Visits!’. The game will then generate you a six-digit passcode. Make a note of it. You’ll need to give your friends that code for them to be able to visit you. It can be inputted from the game’s main menu.
If you want to stop access to your valley, simply interact with the Valley Visit Station again.
How to visit friends in multiplayer in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To visit friends, you need to be on the main starting menu of Disney Dreamlight Valley. Choose the ‘Multiplayer’ option. You’ll need their unique six-digit number. Type it in the box then click ‘connect’. Voila: you’ll be taken to their valley!
