Are you wondering how to speed up Mario and friends in Super Mario Wonder by making them run? Here’s what you need to know.
Hey, don’t feel bad for needing to ask the simple questions: we’re still here to answer them. Knowing how to run in Super Mario Wonder will make your experience with the game so much better: getting that plumber to pick up a bit of speed makes progressing through the levels and absolute joy.
By default, Mario (or whichever character you choose to play as) will run by holding down the Y button. It’ll take him a second to gain speed, so keep the button held down.
If you don’t like the button configuration, you can change it by pressing the pause button then going into the ‘Settings’ menu. In there, you can make it so the B button makes you run in Super Mario Wonder. Unfortunately there’s no way to completely remap the controls to your own choosing.
And that’s it: hold down Y to run, or change it to B in the options. Now watch those little plumber legs go!
