Find out how to save your game in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, ensuring you don’t lose any progress.
With a bigger open world thanks to the inclusion of two new districts, chances are you aren’t going to beat Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in one sitting. And even once you’re done with the epic main story, you’ll likely want to go back just to swing around and clear up any side-missions you’ve missed. You’re going to want to know how to save your game in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, then. After all, you don’t want to lose any progress between gaming sessions, do you?
The good news is that you don’t have to worry about saving your game too much in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, as it employs an autosave system by default. This means your progress is recorded automatically after most major events, such as completing a mission. It’s particularly handy in situations where there’s a powercut, or your console crashes, as it means you’re unlikely to lose much progress. Every once in a while, however, it’s worth making a manual save. And thankfully it’s easy to do.
To manually save your game in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, simply press the Options button on your controller to pause the game and access the system menu. There, you should see a Manual Save option. Select this, then choose a slot to save your game to. It’s up to you whether you want to overwrite a previous save or make a new one. It’s worth getting into the habit of manually saving before quitting the game, or at least exiting back to the title screen via the system menu. Also be aware that if you save mid-mission, you might not always resume exactly from where you left off.
