Undead Inc has a sandbox mode, but how do you unlock it? We’ve got the answer.
Undead Inc’s sandbox mode is, according to the game, “a great map to get your bearings and figure out what the controls do.” Except, for some reason, it’s locked away. So here’s how to unlock Undead Inc’s sandbox mode.
To unlock sandbox mode in Undead Inc., you need to ‘complete’ the three scenario mode maps: The Endswell Way, Where the Suits Live and Waterfront Fun. You’ll then have access to Undead Inc’s sandbox mode, or ‘Sandbox Time’ as it calls it.
Does that mean finishing all maps, maxing out your score? Not at all. You just have to get extracted from each map; you don’t even have to make it to the first status meeting. What you should do is try to maximise your suspicion/legal ratings. When one gets high enough, you’ll see orange symbols appear next to the extraction button in the top left of the screen.
So, here’s what you should be doing:
- Building illegal facilities above ground
- Acting on pop-events in the way that raises most suspicion
- Treating your employees poorly
- Digging underground
Basically, anything to make people more suspicious. Once you’ve done that, activate Extraction, select some employees (it doesn’t matter since you start fresh in the scenario levels), dash to the extraction vehicle and go. Repeat this for each of the three levels and you’ll now have access to sandbox mode.
Sandbox mode lets you build without needing money and has a few other perks, so enjoy. And that’s how to unlock sandbox mode in Undead Inc.
