Announced during the IFI Summer Festival 2024 this weekend, there’s a new Neptunia game on the way. Called Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos, it’s categorised as a “motorcycle action game” — and that alone was enough to make us raise our eyebrows.
Starting life in 2010 with the RPG Hyperdimension Neptunia, the Neptunia franchise shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. It’s moved away from the JRPG genre in recent years, and we’ve had dungeon crawlers, shoot ’em ups, 2D side-scrollers and who-knows-what else. And now, the girls from Gamindustri are jumping on the back of motorbikes.
Honestly, we can’t tell you a whole lot about what sort of gameplay to expect here. The trailer is as ridiculous as we’ve come to expect from a Neptunia title, giving very little away about the game itself. The press release, however, tells us we can enjoy partaking in ‘Dogoo Day Care’, becoming a Dogoo bounty hunter, and customising our bike with various accessories.

Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos is scheduled to release in 2025, and we’ll be keeping an eye out for more details being release about the game before then. It’ll be available on PS4, PS5 and Switch. Sorry, Xbox gamers: you’ll have to sit this trip out.
