For those looking forward to returning to the parallel world of Adelpha we have good news, as Outcast – A New Beginning now has a release date. Even better, preorders are also now live now, and there’s a fancy collector’s edition available for serious fans.
Developed by the team who delivered the original critically-acclaimed game, Outcast – A New Beginning once again puts players in control of Cutter Slade, complete with the same dry wit that he had all those years ago. With his jetpack and range of advanced weaponry, you’ll need to guide him through an open world, gaining the trust of the local Talans and you lead an assault on their adversaries.
We were privy to a hands-off showing of Outcast – A New Beginning late last year, and in our preview we surmised that “If you’re a fan of open world adventures, this is definitely one to have on your radar, regardless of whether you’ve played the first Outcast or not.” If you need more convincing that this is a game you need to keep an eye on, Appeal Studio and THQ Nordic have just released a new trailer that might pique your interest.

Outcast – A New Beginning is set to launch on 15th March, and it will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Preorders are live now across all formats, and if you choose to do so digitally you’ll bag a 17% discount on PC and 15% on console.
When it comes to physical versions, alongside the standard physical edition a collector’s edition will also be available including a high detail Sai statue, exclusive collector’s steelbook, the game’s soundtrack across 3CDs, a 50-page hardcover artbook, and of course the game. It’ll cost you £179.99/$199.99 though.
