Free up your calendar at 5pm GMT/12pm ET tomorrow because Nintendo is hosting an Indie World Showcase. That means you’re going to get your eyes on some upcoming indie games.
The stream will be approximately 20 minutes in length, featuring a mixture of new announcements and updates on games we already know are coming to Switch. It’s safe to expect at least a dozen different games will be shown off, but it could be more.
What we don’t know, however, is exactly what will be shown off during Nintendo’s indie showcase. There’ll be no major first-party announcements, so we can rule out any Mario or Zelda news. This is all about indie games from third-party companies. And so, while some of the games may be Switch-exclusive, some of them will almost certainly be landing on other formats, too.
In other words, even if you’re not primarily a Switch gamer, this is a showcase well worth watching if you’re interested in indie releases.
Where can you watch the Indie World Showcase? Simply tune into Nintendo’s official YouTube or Twitch channel. Your choice of locations; the same great stream on both.
