Got kids who love Sonic the Hedgehog or are a big kid yourself? If you’re in the UK you can now visit McDonald’s for a Sonic-themed treat.
From now until 6th February, McDonald’s Happy Meals have been taken over by the speedy blue hedgehog. Pick up a Happy Meal (which costs around £3.49) and you’ll find that it comes in a fantastic box that resembles Sonic’s head. Inside, alongside your meal of choice, you’ll also find either one of twelve Sonic-themed toys which include a hoverboard and mosaic puzzles, or one of two Little People BIG DREAMS books: I Can Be an Inspiration Writer, or I Can Be a Sports Legend. The choice is yours, but we know what we’d choose.
Those who dine in at McDonald’s get more Sonic goodies, too, in the form of a headband, flags and activity sheets. And that’s not all: a QR code on the box of each Happy Meal can be scanned to access interactive Sonic missions via mobile phones or tablet devices. Needless to say, Sonic fans in need of some nourishment while out and about might want to check the offer out while it’s available.
